I will have a crack, not a geo by any stretch...
Basically, NiS deposits of the Kambalda style found in the region have been associated with hinge folds. Hinge folds is obviously a geo term that in my understanding indicates a fold in the stratigraphy/rocks which results in a trap site for hydrothermal fluids and thus an area where over a long period of time a NiS deposit can form.
The termination of the Lunnon basalt domain in the prospect represents a fold/closure/ trap zone for a NiS deposit to form. Essentially another positive feature in the potential formation of an economic Nickel deposit and increasing the chances that the EM conductor at Wattle Dam East is a Ni S deposit.
Now it is up to the drill bit to confirm the theory.
