Pretty sure you'd be grossly offending many older shareholders and potentially defaming past board members with those claims vcubitt. Now that they're 'out of the way' it's easy for those begrudging claims of your messiah to go unchallenged.
Let's just focus on seeing how MMR's future unfolds, and comment on current actions of the company irrespective of real or alleged hangovers from the previous establishment(s).
So far, for example, DB continued to claim a delay to MMR trading due to resolution of dispute (that he instigated) between MMR, Advent and Asset, each of which he is either MD or sole director. That's not cool.
Despite lodging an application over 12 months ago to NOPTA for Suspension, Extension and Variation to the term of PEP11, very little action has occurred. The only thing shareholders have seen has been the apparent 'appointment' of Add Energy, a well services company. No community consultation has occurred to satisfy NOPSEMA, no description of drilling program has been advised. The only announcement has been that the decision is with the Joint Authority. Any MD worth their salt would be have been both enthusiastically embarking on that drilling plan, and vigorously knocking down the doors of those politicians to *demand* approval for their works. And then communicating all this to long suffering shareholders. Remember he's had the keys to Advent since ~Q3 2019.
Also, what happened to EP386 and its remote gas plays and massive unconventional gas potential?!! Last advice was that he was challenging the Minister's decision to cancel the permit or something similar through the WA State Administrative Tribunal. There may be financial consequences for this dispute. New Standard Energy failed to plug and abandon wells in their Canning Basin permits and copped a significant fine, at both the company level and director level. It would be outrageous to consider that MMR or its shareholders in any way be paying such a fine if it was handed down considering that DB quashed a farmout agreement to a third party that would have seen that liability transferred!
Is anything happening at RL1? At least there's gas there!!
These are issues that have been under the control of the present board of Advent for the past 12-18 months and will have real impact on MMR and its shareholders.
So vcubitt, you're probably right. A lot of work to do to unravel many problems. Just be a little more circumspect about how we got to today and what may happen tomorrow.
