re: Ann: Quarterly Report for 3 months ended ... I am really astonished that you can spend over half a billion dollars on an operation, yet still have no real handle on the various ore bodies. Southern Cross is the best performer of the lot so far (and it's an incredibly expensive per oz operation).
Apart from that, the other open pits and the Gwalia underground so far have been perrenial underperformers. That's inexcusable, with a company which has had so much money to spend. They should have drilled the teeth out of these deposits.
There are any number of companies which would kill for the capital which SBM has thrown at this project. It's just bizzare that, despite all of this, they have failed mining's Rule No. 1: know what's under your feet.
