Enterprise Value can be an illusion when a company is in trouble. Asset values can and will be written back.
Planning to hold here. Rather than averaging down I shall deploy cash on stocks with more manageable risks.
Then, if and when appropriate to do so, i could buy more on significant good news.
Something like that.
Any punter can buy a wrong stock. The thing is not to then feed the thing and allow it to be a drag on the portfolio- or worse.
