I watched this twice after it came out- and then bought in anyway- I simply underestimated the importance of the tailing dam approvals.
Do watch Matt's explanation- its a beauty.
Emptying 200 OSS pools is doable- juggling the storage and managing the tailings etc could be the killer. They appear to be releasing treated water this CY- but even there that would be constrained by available storage of treated water- have storage capacity then treat the water and release it- then treat and store again- rinse and repeat.
Less critical of the Qld government here than I was- if you look at Turkey today and what happens when tailings go wrong.
