Thankyou for thoughts. I think you are correct. I think its going to be much harder gaining traction in Australia than the US. I know its a bit weird but many Afterpay customers have a genuine affection for Afterpay. I wonder if some could be tempted to open an account. I know Cash Apps strategy is to get their customers to open an account linked to their original bank account initially. Then over time try and engage them more and more slowly taking transactions away from their initial bank.
It will be interesting to watch it all unfold.
