renewables will need gas to firm the energy. If you look at all the hybrid power gen projects around they have Wind+ Solar+ Battery+ gas engines. Gas is going to be relevant for another 40 years and BPT is increasing exposure to gas. Also Oil will be around for years to come and with capex reductions since covid supply will dry out, hence spikes in POO are a distinct possibility. At 3,3B AUD market cap BPT is a compelling case.
