Overall quite positive re: drilling and resource etc.
There is definitely an increased forecast final cost coming.
I think it's a bit cheeky to say that project is currently on budget but also say and revised forecast cost is coming in coming months. It's having a bet each way really. If still on schedule, that is a big positive.
The costs are definitely going to increase- by how much, its not understood yet. If you have to eat a shite sandwich, you only want to have to do it in one bite, not multiple.
Sensibly, Simon has bought some time stating we'll get confirmation once all vendor packages complete which is is smart and logical.
I feel the final costs will maybe up around 10-15% increase total, however, this additional funding required should be able to be covered by the early DSO sales without too much trouble.
There may also be some labour cost savings, with such a high contingent of local labour. I expected that there might be a higher contingent of offshore labour during project construction.
