the pe's on coal looking good so i took a closer look
i cant make all th numbers add up but --
taking the quarterly reports ye jun 23 "operating ebitdas" is total $473m
this translated to profit before tax of $361m for the year Jun 2023
everything else then was cost $112m
the latest quartery report shows "operating ebitda" $35m
lets say x 4 = FY 2024 is $140m
if we said cost was per above $112m then
profit before tax YE Jun 2024 could be small
maybe eps down from 32.7 cps to say 3.27 cps
i dont know the right PE but if it was 7
would imply a SP of 23c
sure its simplistic and im always happy to be proved worng
i am a beginner &
i dont have any TER or other coal as yet
any comments please
