The comapny had been forecasting this production.
Re the $, they sold @1500 ozs less than they pulled out of the ground, spent a bit (@$2m) running the ruler over propsective mergers/acquisitions and spent a truckload on exploration and so expect good reserve/resource upgrades next month.

BTW I've joined the school that will push the company to dump buybacks and go divi's.
