Nice 22% Increase in cash margin per ton of sold concentrate. All those who said GXY's quarterly performance will drop might have to eat their words. Every single metric listed showed improvement.

But that's not even the best bit!

"Construction of the yield optimization circuits at the Mt Cattlin Plant has commenced. These include an ultra fines DMS circuit, a secondary float re-crush circuit and a final product optical sorter. These productivity improvement projects have been implemented with the objective to increase overall recovery to a range of 70-75%, which in turn will result in an increase in annual production volumes to between 220,000 and 240,000 dmtpa. Construction and commissioning of these new additions to the process plant are scheduled to be completed during Q3, with the resulting improvements in production rates expected in Q4 2018."

So once these new toys get installed, we will be running at OVER 220ktpa of spodumene concentrate. The optical sorters and co. might even lift our product grade closer to 6% Li2o = higher sale prices.

Onto SDV:
"A new production well (SVWW18_24) was completed during Q2, increasing knowledge both of the geology and hydrogeology related to the northern basin tenements. This new well was terminated at a depth of 351 metres and was developed to provide hydraulic parameters. Both step and continuous pumping tests were successfully performed during a 48 hour period. A second production well will be drilled during Q3 in the southern tenement area."

The team definitely preparing for the future in the background and making sure we can hit the ground running once all is finalized.

Our piggy bank is also getting fatter and fatter - over $110million AUD as of early july (not incl POSCO deal proceeds).

All this good news probably means the sp is going to drop tomorrow though....
