Simple It's not actually a case of "the market not like the announcement" but simply a matter of the shorts becoming increasingly more frantic every passing day about just how in hell they're ever going to cover their open positions and so they have literally been sweating for awhile now upon the release of GXY's latest Quarterly and literally praying that they can find ANYTHING in it, that they can immediately use to SPIN in ANY WAY as 'bad news' no matter how much utter BS, on their parts that actually takes, whilst they've been lining up all of their cross-trades firepower that they can possibly manage to scrape together, in order to launch another concerted last-ditch full scale shorting attack upon the SP today in a desperate attempt to drive the SP lower and thus trigger all of the sell-stops along the way (that they've already had full view of, just by the way )

To anyone with a time horizon longer than the pip-chasers, the only thing today was, is simply another "White-Noise" stock-market day in the history of the company, and it has yet again, provided yet another fantastic opportunity to stock up (yet again) on even more crazily discounted sale-priced GXY shares.

As that US-$84.2 Billion "Oracle" keeps reminding us, "If you are not willing to own a stock for 10 years, do not even think about owning it for 10 minutes" but, it would seem that there are still a few 'slow-learners' out there.

All IMHO and always DYOR of course.

Tech question.. Why would the shorters panic?
ie:Mr X short sold 100000 GXY at $2.40 and will buy them next Tuesday at say $ 1.80.( a 10% jump) He would make $60K without sweating.( 30% gain)...Of course if no one sells at this level, shorters can't fill their positions and the cat and mouse game keeps going.
