For anyone else (like me) who didnt know much about the 'MDL' they refer to in the announcement (that we secured in November 2012 for Wandoan):

4.Declaring a potential geothermal commercial area
5.Declaring a potential greenhouse gas storage area
Print entire guideA mineral development licence (MDL) allows you to carry out further studies of a resource and to assess the development potential of a site, once you have discovered that minerals or coal exist on your permit area.

In addition to activities allowed under exploration permits for coal or minerals, you can:

•conduct feasibility studies, metallurgical testing and environmental studies
•carry out engineering design studies
•raise capital for investment and conduct marketing studies.
