I cannot see anything on the horizon that should point to a meaningful turnaround for COE.

We won't see an annual profit (again) this financial year given the cost for BMG rehab will chew up c. $195M. It concerns me that a company uses assets for a number of years, doesn't make a profit, then books a $195M cost to rehab the spent assets?

Orbost average daily production for October was about 49.5Tj/day which is the same as the Jan/March 23 quarter. Doesn't look like the expert team is achieving anything here yet?

COE is #100 on the top 100 shorted companies at 2.5%. The percentage might not sound like much, but it represents about 66 million shares being used for shorting.

In December COE reported they would commission the Solids Removal System (SRS) in the 1HFY24. It's now November and no mention of the SRS since December ie COE has ceased all discussion about the SRS. It feels as if they know it won't work well and gone into a 'don't mention it' mode. I see a 100% likelihood that they will have to install a 3rd absorber next year.... aghh more costs.

I recently sold my private holding (600K shares) for 12 and 14.5 cents. Now just hold 100k shares in my Super but no aspirations to see the light of day there at 26.5 cents.
