Yes COE are noting $8.38/GJ, while Govt is capping price at $12/GJ.
To work up the total selling price you have add on the pipeline tariff (this includes their profit), and gas distribution costs (this includes their profit) - onto that $8.38/GJ COE get,....these adders result in total gas price exceeding the Governments cap of $12/GJ.
These pipeline and gas distribution assets are now likely foreign owned,.....and acquired through deals most likely facilitated by the LNP coalition....
