A dividend stock will not go up that much. They can be all over the place with dividend year to year & SP as well. Nothing is without risk.

I was shown an internal document from CBA a few years ago detailing all their investments & returns on superannuation. In amongst the hundreds of different investments a couple stood out & produced in excess of 20% pa 10 year returns - Small Caps in Tech, Health, Fintech.
