Hi GCar, Couldn’t agree with you more! All of this rubbish being published, about lithium oversupplies in the near term, continues to be the main theme of agendas, pushed in some circles. Elon Musk has been getting himself around on a global scale, trying to secure enough supplies of materials, for his battery gigafactories, and it has been published many times, that he would need to secure the whole world’s supplies of lithium, to be able to achieve some very ambitious targets, for the accelerating demand, that is happening in the global EV and battery storage space.
And we have been made aware of the big car and battery manufacturers, trying to secure their own lithium supplies in coming years, and on their own terms. And this revolution is gathering more momentum, as each month/year passes! There aren’t going to be enough lithium producers, or battery giga-factories around either, and more will need to be built, to ensure that accelerating global demand for the batteries, that will be required to power this renewable energy revolution, can indeed be met. We already know to take what we read in some of these broker/analyst reports with a grain of salt, and arrive at our own conclusions, in relation to what we envisage will be happening in the sector.
The markets can often be seen to be lagging behind, due to lack of research and foresight, can easily get the jitters, and Company share prices like Galaxy’s can be dulled, due to the ease in which this heavy manipulation of sectors is allowed to keep happening, and nothing will ever be done about it, due to the might, and financial powers, that the institutions wield over the rest of us, and the outrageous sums of money that are involved. As we all know money talks! Not much chance of bubbles happening anywhere in the markets anymore. All we can do is buy low-ish, sell high-ish, formulate a plan, and trade and/or invest according to our own strategies.
I’m very relaxed about my own investments in the sector, and will be waiting to see what eventuates in the next decade or so. Whether the likes of UB’s stays, goes, shorts heavily, announces outrageous SP targets,or whatever else they do, will be of little consequence to many of us, as we are well aware of the sharks we see fishing in the tanks, and how they feed. The markets and Galaxy’s share price, will eventually catch on. GLTA
