I am not that sure this JV is fair to us seeing as we have to fund and produce all of these devices and I believe at a very small margin if anything. We should be producing at $100, JV buying at $200 and retail $300 but I don’t think this is the case.
We have had to raise capital, dilute the share base, then produce these for no real gain then RoadPost is making all the gravy taking all the North American subscription. margin. PLUS who pays for all the R & D on these Zoleos? Vibe I got is we have to but seeing as we are selling them for minimal to no margin is this going to be repaid by the JV out of its cash flow before RP takes its cut?
I am happy to spend a couple million on development of there is payback but not if it is to sell a product to a JV where we don’t make any margin and it also appears to be highly beneficial to the other partner.
Not sure this is entirely how it is working out but joining the dots seems so.
