Cash burn is higher than thought, meaning cash runway is shorter than expected. They'd better get a deal, otherwise it's not that long before they have to come back with their hand out. A problem that we (small shareholders) had lessened.
In vivo seems to have also been pushed out? Thought it was late 17/early 18, now early 18. Is this because they seem to keep on adding more and more things they want to test? They seem so excited by the library (and perhaps rightly so) that they keep on going "oh, and another one" to the point they seems to be slowing down progressing anything to a commercial state?
Does pushing in vivo reduce their ability to do a deal in the shorter-term? I mean, wouldn't a pharma just say "we'll wait and see the results on your dime" before making a deal? If so, early 18 we'll likely need more capital, at precisely the wrong time to do a deal.....again..!!
No word on the turnstile of directors. Would have thought they'd put something in there if it was all fair and reasonable, i.e. needed at Kite?
Overall, not impressed. Hopefully more can be gained by listening to the conference call, which I think is a great development for small shareholders to get a word in.
