Some things that stood out for me:
- SU talked about the granted patent for phylomers that have the ability to enter specific brain cells. She said this shows that PYC libraries have certain peptides that are 'cell specific'. That enables PYC to target high value cells.
- Getting good results with Stat5 program. Good binding.
- They are looking to engineer FPPs to target particular cargoes and improve their performance for different job characteristics. So to give commercialisation opportunities, to set PYC up for the future.
- The in-vivo (live animal model) results in the first half of 2018 will be over a range of cargoes, not just PYC's own programs. The first set will be iMyc.
- RH said that they are moving forward with different experiments. Some to validate the FPPs others to validate iMyc. They have some 'beautiful' data on the function of their FPPs that shows very nicely that it works. It should be published soon. The journal sent the paper back for some minor additions to the manuscript.
- RK left due to commitments with Kite Pharma following Gilead takeover.
- SU said PYC are moving to more commercial phase so SN is a good fit.
- SU confident there is sufficent cash till end of 2018.
- Over reliance on Q&A of which only one question was asked.
