My understanding is the company can send it on to the ASX either morning or night and the ASX releases it within that time frame (if Arvo before 5.30PM i believe)
Some if the previous poor announcements have been released in the Arvo, which in my eyes was to allow more time for peoples emotions to settle and not trigger a mass sell off
