Gareth, i fully understand your reasoning and subsequent concern but the overall process is very difficult and extremely time consuming.
The board if they see fit, or threatened can drag this process out. Buying time allows them to shore up their position and relationships with the major shareholders and in hope that the delays and perceived indiscretions and the SP are repaired.
