He’s criticised for being himself, he’s criticised for not being himself.
He shouldn’t have gone into Europe first, he went to Europe too late.
He can’t read every contrary whim of the regulatory bodies. Heck he can’t even mind read and answer questions they ‘forgot’ to ask the first time!
Unlike his critics (who would handle it with ease) he wouldn’t be able to play Warne’s Gatting ball. Unlike his critics he didn’t tip the Bengal’s to reach the Super Bowl this year nor Scotty Boland to take 6 for 7 if you don’t mind.
No our Derek is deeply flawed indeed but guess what, I still love ya big fella!
