Cheers Wassa much appreciated. I figured you'd have a bit more knowledge on the Cobar region than myself. I'm in Melbourne mate so not too many local mining operations to invest my coin in. Not surprised by your summation on Dargues, It's hard to believe they spent nearly 200 million on such a dud asset.
I have to say that I'm not as confident about AMI's near term prospects after getting yours, Specs and BBsters input. I just saw those dollar signs as soon as I'd seen the 9gt gold equivalent grade, and the shear scale and prospectivity of the Federation deposit.
I've already sunk a fair amount of coin into AMI at an average buy in price of 45c so I've obviously jumped the gun so to speak. Will probably hang in there and wait for the Fed Feasibility Study and cross my fingers that the NPV numbers are as stunning as I think they will be.
Unlike Great Cobar which is due to ramp up in FY24, at least it won't take too long before they start generating some cash out of the high grade Federation deposit, with first stope being mined and processed as early as the beginning of CY23.
