They are probably sprinkling the nuggets into the feed at Dargues to make it look like gold is not falling into the tailings piles. It would not surprise me, there is an increasing grey area arising in which poor performance one quarter is being offset by better performance in a different area, only for that different area to perform badly the next quarter.
Management love to use words like "continues to impress" when in reality any astute mining investor standing with AMI is far from impressed. The only impressive thing is that Clifford is still at the helm and refuses to acknowledge in any way that continued underperformance is not a management issue.
