Sounds good on theory but IMO a lot trickier and riskier in practice. Picking the low to buy then cutting out at the high is hard and I have found that the CGT, the high stress of jumping in and out and being hyper vigilant on the day to day movement, and the high risk to opportunity lost when it moves higher and you’re left standing by the wayside just doesn’t seem worth it. Happy to ride the volatility all the way up and occasionally top up during a dip.
