Been a bit busy sorry. I think if you're in low tax environment (SMSF etc) then it's good. I've not made a decision yet. I have some in my own name and others in SMSF. Cost base in SMSF is $1.70 for me. So If I sell into the buy back I gather I pay SMSF tax (10%) on the 9c and get a large franked dividend of about $1.40 per share on which I pay 15% (I'm in accumulation phase). So thinking it's not worth it for me.
I think prospects are good despite anemic performance and if I eventually sell in the distant future - I'll be taken just the 10% on capital gains. (I'm thinking maybe someone will try and take it over but it's an asset that the ACCC might not want in foreign hands etc)
