I've been a shareholder since Qube started when Chris Corrigan was CEO. I was in Asciano before that and Patrick before that. The issue is, the stevedore union (MUA) are the biggest thugs and grubs you will ever meet. These are the laziest grubs who received a 26% pay increase over 5 years which means most of these uneducated Yr 9 dropouts will be earning over $160,00 pa for a 150 day working day. D.P went through the pain now, Qube will go through the same pain when its their turn.
They really need to draw a line in the sand in the next set of negotiations, bring DP management into the dispute and CLOSE down the ports until the uneducated union grubs start losing their houses. Shut them down for a year and see if Tony Burke is still smirking!
