i dont think your buy at 63 was necessarily a bad decision at the time. Nor your decision to exit to mitigate further losses. We can only really ever make a decision based on the information we have at the time. Over time we can reflect on what we may have missed or not considered in those moments and learn for the next decision to be made.
i participated in the SPP which looks like a bad decision atm, but also also over several years paid 15 and bought all the way down to about 7.5 and back up to 15, probably looked silly to anyone else at the time, but now one of the better investment decisions i have made.
the way i see it, unless you are doing this to put food on the table every night, or mortgaged your home and put it all on AXE i dont really see really see the need to judge investment decisions on such a short time frame...
