No real problems, I've registered different applications and some do take a very long time.
However they will not look at another application for the same or similar product until the original has been withdrawn or granted. You can change and or add modifications to your original application if you or the registrar requests you do so to clarify some points. I doubt if these applications will be withdrawn.
