interesting article on the role semiconductors play in the current geopolitical tensions... Have read a few things over this past year about how the pandemic has made many countries re-evaluate their supply chains and the reliance on Taiwan asca source of semiconductors is closely tied to national security these days for both Australia and the US...so investing in the path of closer to home production/development etc is no longer as unrealistic as perhaps in the past...
