KAU fell 3c or 13% to 19.5c on thursday.

Commsec data shows nearly all of the fall occurred in the last 35 minutes of trading, with only a handful of trades taking place minutes after the market opened.

KAU hasn’t issued any statements recently that would help to help to explain the sudden and unexpected tumble in the SP.

typically a fall of this nature suggests some bad news is just around the corner.

KAU is scheduled to issue its quarterly activity and accounts statement by the end of October. In effect the deadline is Friday Oct. 29.

the fall in the SP Thursday suggests all isn’t rosy. If this turns out to be the case with evidence in the quarterly then we have what is often termed a leaky boat, or a reasonable facsimile.
