They are smart doing it on the last day, all the photos of the grand opening and it will be the talk of Brissy and as previously mentioned thew hotel is fully booked for the first week of open and this will continue to be a place to be.
The Carlyle will lose it's clientele to the star by months end
The new MD will play hard ball on the potential job cuts with the NSW government and the longer they stay quiet the better for SGR and the fines etc etc. They need Star Sydney to remain open plus the apartments above in SYD would be worth a motza if sold off to pay down debt.
