There unfortunately is a big entitlement mentality in the west, including Australia. A mentality, i was born here, therefore i am entitled to my "fair share" of profits / royalties from a coal company that i have nothing to do with.
Taxes can fund legitimate functions of government. but i must question the efficacy when singapores government is more effective in every way yet as a proportion of their gdp spends half of Aus
