I think BOW's lot is pretty good in all the criteria as per the last preso by JD, so you can understand why I am so !@#$% about the manipulation.
And yes I reckon ASIC is a toothless old moggy in these types of matters. Way to much to outlay for not much gain for them.
All this crap is legal & set up so the bloody instos & cronies can make an absolute s$%^ load of money.
But it is only the very cashed up that can play this game.
If the governments flat out banned short selling of all types the playing field would all of a sudden become a lot flatter.
Then you would see the good (talented) traders rise to the top.
