This has always been a frustration for me with AUZ, Surely you would know on the last day of the deadline whether you are going to make it or not - So announce it rather than waiting till it passes to announce it.
Same goes for if you know it weeks in advance (this is how I took the "Business Update" announcement but IMO they should have been clearer about whether or not they were still attempting to achieve the deadline).
