The cyclone season has by and large not materialised in FNQ this year and they have been experiencing calmer weather than their less fortunate southern Qld cousins. This should mean that there will be no climatic impact on the PPY factory in Walkamin.
As for the MOU it stated "The MOU represents a tangible step toward establishing a factory in a prolific banana growing province with the prospect of selling product into Europe". I might add that PPY had a great opportunity to actually get a factory built in Martenique over a year ago so the above doesn't really mean much.
It looks like the Monaco group have lost interest or have found something else to do. There hasn't been a PPY announcement about them for quite some time.
As for a new share placement, is it possible?? Could anyone stump up the funds for what will be a heavily diluted company?
