I am not that concerned and I also have a significant investment which is well underwater at this stage. Ordinarily the debt is guaranteed by the client company should their client not pay Quickfee. On this occassion the client company has been on the books for a number of years and their clients have allegedly been paying on time. Sadly the client company is not from the accounting/legal practices that Quickfee normally contracts with. What sector it is in I have no idea, but I guess our company has learnt a lesson from this experience. All growing businesses make mistakes and get caught out occasionally. What we all hope is that they don't make the same mistake twice.
This investment with the legal professionals will deliver a good message to all those client companies that follow, or there will be a big need for Quickfee to rewrite their legal agreements. JMT
