my point was think about this:

SL knows that QFX is fuarked. He can try fix it via becmoing a reseller of presto. This is probably a pretty safe path however i assume they would be getting low profit margin. For them to give up this safe option you would think that this chinese deal somehow is going to a) save the company/provide $$$ .... and take them a new direction which could evolve the company......

For them to give up the safety of Presto restreaming you would think he would have to be very very sure this chinese deal is legit otherwise call in the auditors.......
