It's pleasing to see the Company Presentation morphing rapidly in step with all that's been revealed about Quicksilver in the past couple of months. And no doubt with plenty more to come, as our understanding of the Project continues to grow.

I see from yesterday's release, which presages Damon's presentation to the Mines & Money conference in Sydney tomorrow (Wednesday 1st November, 4:15pm), several updated or new slides.

One of which, Slide 7, happily brings together some interesting older data with the new.

I think there has possibly been a perception that the spectacular wide, high-grade Ni intersection at hole 23QDD008, which saw the shares run in June, was a bit of a one-off.

Whereas, as Slide 7 shows, there have historically actually been plenty of nice wide intercepts of decent grade at Quicksilver - but which were interpreted incorrectly, or somehow overlooked:

(And of course we know now from the metallurgical studies all this stuff upgrades very simply by scrubbing and screening - upgrades ranging from 111% to 226%!).

But now there's a new geological interpretation afoot:

Which, as Slide 6 proclaims, shows potential for extensive, structurally controlled high-grade zones:

    So logical next steps:

Now equipped with a more informed metallurgical understanding, the geochemical drill database is being re-examined to spatially assess the current understanding of key metallurgical domains and plan out orientation and infill drill programs.

The extent of nickel enriched mica in the Quicksilver deposit is unknown at this stage due in part to the wide drill spacing supporting the Resource and a subtle geochemical signature.

The high nickel grades associated with mica and potential for mica concentration and downstream selective nickel extraction are enticing and could well become the primary focus for mine planning and processing.
