I think that is self evident, but isn’t it an admission their existing high manufacturing costs have entrenched low margins in the business, hence the poor financial performance for a long time.
So only now, the Board is waking up that the company needs a low cost, sustainable competitive advantage in its manaufacturing strategy.
Surely this is manufacturing 101, not an exciting collaborative partnership.
