I forgot to mention (as you have kindly pointed pout above) that lots of projects across multiple sectors (including oil and gas and coal) have been approved whilst this guy has been president.
I believe he got pulled aside and had a "come to Jesus moment" and has seen the reality of what it takes to fund a nation, most socialists get a wake up call when they have to try and function in the real world.
As for a lot of the negativity on here, most of it is inaccurate information (for example that Richard Low guy has been sooooo wrong on whatever he posts and makes me think
he may be tied into that legal action????, otherwise why bother when you can't even get your facts right?). No one can be that wrong all the time unless they are driving an alternate agenda? Or can they be that uninformed?
I have a lot of non contributing whiners on ignore, doesn't help the investment strategy when people are just crying about making a bad trade/investment. Once they learn to own their actions, they will be better off, until then I have no time for the crying.
I know a lot of folks here have bagged Jason out, but he was the reason the company discovered Tesorito and the SP rocketed, I know as he was kind enough to sit down with me and explain their targets when I was first interested in MNC/LCL way back when, so I'm very familiar with the history here and what went right and what went wrong.
One whiner in particular kept going on about the coffee plantations, but we are no where near that altitude/elevation so never been a factor, like I said lots of misinformation and just plain wrong information thrown out along the way.
Ceibal for example was found because of a grab sample one of the local staff picked up as he was familiar with other discoveries in the area and figured, let's grab a few and test em and what a great move that was.
Like I said there is more here to the upside than down side, the old PRICE vs VALUE proposition.
Happy to see where this takes us and with any luck, back higher to a more realistic valuation.
