Thanks for sharing your thoughts, mate and I think this is a great opportunity to zoom out and highlight why government support is crucial in projects like Lincoln and why the government made a strategic move backing it.We’re not just talking about another mining venture here this is a Critical Minerals Hub with strategic national importance. The Australian government, through initiatives like the Critical Minerals Strategy and Net Zero Plan, is clearly prioritising regions that can fast-track downstream processing, local manufacturing, and regional economic revitalisation. Lincoln ticks every single box. Here’s why the government chose Lincoln: 1. Proximity to Infrastructure: It’s near ports, power, and transport. You can’t underestimate the cost savings and logistical benefits this brings it makes development realisticand scalable. 2. Local Government and Community Support: Unlike other projects facing environmental or community opposition, Lincoln has council backing, strong landowner relationships, and alignment with SA’s economic development plans. 3. Downstream Processing & Jobs: The federal government wants to onshore value-add. Lincoln doesn’t just propose mining it’s linked to magnesium and rare earth processing, creating long-term jobs and sovereign capability. 4. Geopolitical Timing: With raising tensions in supply chains (particularly with China), governments want secure, ethical, and reliable sources of critical minerals. Lincoln’s magnesium and REE potential gives Australia that edge. 5. Shovel-Ready Potential: Unlike other exploration-heavy juniors, Lincoln has defined resources, pathways to permitting, and is positioning itself for offtakes and partnerships. It’s not pie-in-the-sky it’s practical and grounded. If the government didn’t support this, it would be missing a generational opportunity to establish Australia as a global leader in critical mineral processing. Investors should realise we’re not in 2010 anymore we’re in a geopolitical race for battery metals, and government backing equals investor confidence.Let’s keep the conversation going. Awareness is key and so is understanding why this project is different and important to SA government.
