@shikapat if you are a lucky idiot then so am I. I have never seen mention of bioenergetics as a MOA before this announcement.
The change in the primary MOA was not forecast or even really explained clearly in this announcement. It is really interesting to me in that it seems that the bioenergetics change seems to occur at lower concentrations and I would therefore assume it is likely to be effective at lower concentrations (therefore less toxicity issues).
I am a bit concerned that they don't really fully understand how it works, although maybe that is par for the course given how novel this is.
