I disagree. I have spoken to James and although the bacterial side (especially sepsis as it is the most expensive treatment/cost to the system...think big $) is their priotity/focus they are still very seriously developing the anti viral side of things to have a serious antiviral drug. They have merely taken advantage of the covid environment to access cheaper lab work etc
I can tell you that covid is HIGHLY political and recce are very frustrated at getting results and the wording thar they are allowed to use in announcements. Can't say any more.
