Seems like Covid is evolving into somewhat a "super-bug", given how fast it manages to mutate to Alpha, Beta, Delta, Mu and now Omicron. At one point, it's going to be either we take a vaccine once every 3 months or it becomes completely resistant to the vaccine. If R327 proves to be what it is designed for (not going into the specifics, everyone can read it up), and is effective against the primary Covid strain and is able to break down the membrane no matter how it evolves, then we are looking at a one-stop effective medication for all variants even if it continues to mutate in the future into whatever you call it - Zulu variant etc.
