Like the old saying… when reputation is lost everything is lost. Not in this case. The BOD & mgmt have lost some reputation and trust of the SHs and that needs to be regained. That’s my point when I saying BOD buying the shares as one of the ways to start gaining SH respect.
There are literally more than a dozen ASX biotechs which are very undervalued and many dozens more globally which are also trading below cash. Just because they are undervalued/ derisked doesn’t mean they are a buy. Every company and every aspect of the company comes under focus in circumstances such as this both from a macro and micro.
Some friends of mine who have been unable to take the recent fall in the ASX particularly in biotech are looking to sell their shares and change to ETFs. Note that they have been invested more than a couple of years in Race and also got allocation in the SPP. So yes, Risk vs Reward, long term etc etc.
Hoping for good news soon for Race and reversal of the industry trend.
