In regards to 1 - not sure if it was just my reading but I assumed by 'dose escalation' it was the dose that would be provided to the patient that would be increasing for each of the four days, not the number of days (of constant dose) that would be increasing. Increasing the dosing period sounds much better - hopefully a long dosing period can be tolerated. Is there a maximum number of days though that would be dosed if no toxic effects are noticed?
