If the aim was the same as the “Middle Kingdom” Race which was to demonstrate the full range of clinical activities of Bisantrene then it would be turning RAC into a lifestyle company where the board members potter about in the scientific garden satisfying their whims and curiosities for the next several years.
The New Kingdom strategy, though yet to be released, seems to indicate let's get it to a minimum viable product status in terms of results, lay the foundations for the next steps, and then sell it off to whoever is interested. Sure it may not give you a 100x ROI, but if you knock 3-4 years off the equation while not being fed fluff and still net a 50x return then many would call that a win.
