There is some merit in this approach.

It is about time we were not scared of the bigger numbers. They are what they are.

In sales you would call it a stretch target.
e.g. Race puts is out there that they are worth $30B de-risked.
If they only achieve $25B would you as an investor be unhappy?

Race have acknowledged 80% chance of success against Triangle at 1%.
It might be time to get those numbers and tell everyone who will listen.
Perhaps Dr T can engage a Math Professor or Economics Professor to look at the probabilities and numbers.

    On a side note....
I shared Race with an investment house the other week. They are now tracking it.
When I told them I expected a buy out over $100 per share and maybe in the $1000s they would not agree with me.
Their observation is the major risk for Race is their retail investor book.
i.e. retail investors will not hang on like an institutional investor.
There is some merit in their argument.
e.g. If you are retail investor in the Lambo club and the SP hit $30 or $50 you are sitting on $3-$5m.
That is life changing for anyone. Do you hang on? I expect some will jump.

IMO Education is the key for retail investors to understand the beast that they own and when to jump off. Thanks to the many posters that continue to educate us all.

    Cheers
